To calculate the freight charge, identify the correct column on the chart for the weight of the safe and the row for the state to which the safe will ship.  At the intersection there will be a rate.  Divide the weight of the safe by 100 and multiply the answer by the rate.  The result is the freight charge.

EXAMPLE:

Model M28F shipping to Nevada:

1. Weight is 855 lbs.

2. Rate is $27.73

3. 855 / 100 = 8.55 X $27.73 = $237.09

Therefore shipping Model M28F to Nevada= $237.09

These freight charges do not apply to Alaska, Hawaii or Utah.

All safes are shipped from Browning's factory in Utah, directly to your home or business,  ground freight with "curbside delivery".  This means the safe will be delivered to your home, on a pallet and moved into a safe location, not placed in the home.  We are not allowed to arrange for interior delivery, by Browning's contract with the delivery company.  Moving the safe within your home is your responsibility.  Removing the door is easy and does remove a substantial amount of the safe weight.
